Naples is located in Collier County and is a principal city of the Naples-Marco Island, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area, which has a population of about 378,000. The city of Naples  (pop around 22,000) is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States. The greater Naples area is more diverse, with the average home valued at around $420K


Naples is the crown jewel of the Gulf Coast of Florida with miles of glistening white beaches, more private golf courses than any other comparable area of the country, many world class hotels and resorts, and easy boat accrss to scenis estuaries and the Gulf of Mexico. Graced with a small town ambiance and big city sophistication, it is a clean, safe community with an extraordinary variety of cultural resources and extensive medical facilities.


Naples has a host of actives and attractions including golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, beaching, boating, Naples Zoo, Botanical Gardens, gyms, parks, walking trails, lakes, SUNSETS, Humane Society, and the performing arts.


There are a myriad of lifestyle choices from waterfront condo living, homes on navigable canals, gated golf and tennis communities, downtown Olde Naples living, new construction communities, and equestrian properties to name a few. There are different neighborhoods in Naples running along the coast from Port Royal, Olde Naples, Aqualane Shores and Royal Harbor, to Park Shore and the Moorings, Pelican Bay and North Naples. Going east you will find a a huge choice of neighborhoods and communities all with their own flavor and amenities. There is something for everyone.


Many residents come to Naples for the winter months, and return to their ‘northern’ homes in the midwest, northeast, Canada etc in the summer. And some come just for a few months as vacationers. But there is also a large and fast growing population of younger people, families, and full time residents.  The school distrist of Collier County serves 48,000 students in 29 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, 8 high schools. Plus there are 13 alternative school programs as well as private schools.


The major airport serving the area is RSW, Ft Myers International where there are many direct flights from other major cities.
